1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Company profile
Bélisle Solution-Nutrition is a company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of mineral and vitamin premixes, protein supplements and forage seeds for farm and leisure animals. We also make extruded and pressed soybean meal and oil from local soybeans. Bélisle's mission is to assist agricultural businesses to realize the full potential of their farms by developing profitable solutions for quality adapted nutrition thanks to our dynamic team.
At Bélisle, our commitment is clear, to help our employees and customers realize their ideas and ambitions. We make every effort to ensure that our policies, practices and procedures are consistent with the principles of inclusion, dignity, integration and equal opportunity regardless of physical or cognitive condition so that everyone can participate fully and equally.

We strive to provide reasonable accommodations and take into account everyone's needs. 2. GIVING FEEDBACK OR CONTACTING US
2.1 Accessible Canada Act
Under the Accessible Canada Act, C-81, federally regulated entities are required to report on their policies and practices to identify and enable accessibility for all through a plan with a proactive and inclusive approach.
Our commitment to improving our accessibility practices is reflected in this plan, which outlines how we can incrementally remove barriers by focusing on the following seven areas:
- Employment
- Built environment
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Communication other than TCI
- Acquisition of goods, services and facilities
- Design and delivery of programs and services
- Transport
3. CONSULTATION
Bélisle consulted with some employees in the preparation of this plan and gave them the opportunity to provide input. The consultation was conducted by telephone, email and one-on-one discussions.
4. AREAS
4.1 Employment
Bélisle Solution-Nutrition is fully aware of the importance of accessibility in the workplace for all employees, including people with disabilities. Our objectives are:
A- Maintain and enhance our culture of inclusion and diversity
Actions: Develop new approaches to hiring staff. Consult with all employees, as some may not be comfortable disclosing disabilities.

B- Improve our zero-tolerance policy on discrimination.
Actions: Raise awareness among our employees and review onboarding policies and procedures to have an optimal culture of accessibility.

Action: Through training, increase accessibility knowledge across the company to improve the sensitivity of each employee. Enhanced our intranet content to direct employees to available accessibility resources and information.

4.2 Built Environment
Our built environment has sections that are over 60 years old that were not originally built with accessibility in mind. We are continually implementing various mitigation measures for everyone.
As buildings are renovated or new construction is considered, accessibility standards will be planned.
In the meantime, we are providing our employees with accommodations and making sure to adapt our accessibility as needed to reduce barriers and set up workspaces in accordance with the diverse needs of employees.
A- Ensuring accessibility in future buildings and facilities
Actions: Follow the design standards of the Accessible Canada Act and applicable national building codes for each new construction.

B- Ensure accessibility in existing facilities : office, production plant, warehouse and parking lot..
Measurements :
o Assess existing facilities and develop plans to identify accessibility gaps.
o Identify architectural obstacles in existing buildings that could be easily transformed without too many operational impacts.

C- Mitigation of inaccessible areas.
Measurements :
o Create communication tools in our various locations to facilitate and obtain help with accessibility, through phone numbers and emails.
o Develop new work accommodations to meet the well-being of employees with disabilities.
o Analyze the measures to be taken to improve fire alarms and other emergency alarms for people with visual or hearing disabilities and set up a support committee for them.

4.3 Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
The majority of the tools used by Bélisle Solution-Nutrition Inc. are accessible remotely, allowing employees to work from their place of residence, for more flexibility.
A- Raise awareness of existing and available accessibility tools and technologies
Measurements :
o Maintain and improve information technology training on accessibility and expand its deployment to employees.
o Offer training through our various available communication channels explaining the accessibility features of each other's technology.

B- Continue to implement accessibility requirements in our technological systems.
Measurements :
o Ensure that we continuously include IT requirements for accessibility compliance in our search for IT solutions.
o See if our websites and intranet comply with the WCAG 2.0 level A-AA standard and update if necessary.
o Ensure that the process of selecting new software includes accessibility features as a key factor. Responsibility: IT Department.

4.4 Non-ICT Communication
Bélisle Solution-Nutrition Inc. recognizes the importance of promoting its values and inclusive culture within its organization in order to accelerate change in accessibility. Our messages are conveyed through various internal forums.

o Promote the use of closed captioning, including translations for virtual meetings.

4.5 Procurement of goods, services and facilities.
At Bélisle Solution-Nutrition Inc., we understand that discussions around inclusion and accessibility should take place with stakeholders, including its business partners, when it comes to procurement processes.

4.6 Design and delivery of programs and services.
Bélisle Solution-Nutrition Inc. wants to offer a simple and human experience in the delivery of its services. Essentially, our service is provided directly at the customer's site by a representative of the company. Contact with our customers is first and foremost personalized, it is the heart of our mission.
4.7 Transport
Bélisle Solution-Nutrition Inc. does not coordinate a transportation system or fleet of transportation vehicles as defined in the Accessible Canada Act. This means that transportation standards are not covered by this plan.
